The TripleRinser
The TripleRinser is a multi-fold innovation in Better Management Practices helping multiple industries in saving time, chemical and labour costs, ensuring a cleanliness and safety standard for the drum recycling and handling, and reducing chemical contamination of soils and rivers.

Why Triple Rinse?
Agriculture requires the use of vast volumes of chemicals to produce quality products to the markets.
But Agriculture is just one of many industries across Australia using chemicals in their production processes.
These chemicals are in the most part supplied in 20 litre plastic drums that become a waste product once emptied.
Whilst many companies work hard to minimise impact on the environment, manual triple rinsing is hard dangerous work and often falls short of the intended outcome.
Our national environmental program for the collection and recycling of empty chemical containers.
Australia has a national recycling program called drumMUSTER which fosters the collection and processing of these containers by recycling companies.
As part of this program, drumMUSTER have disseminated instructions to chemical users in the responsible cleanliness required for the drums.
This process asks for the drums to be rinsed free of residue.
Resistance to this process is high when there are a number of drums to be cleaned and the resulting state of drums is often substandard.
To facilitate responsible recycling practices, the TripleRinser was created to make the drum rinsing quick, easy and conserving the water required for cleaning.
How The TripleRinser Works
A sturdy stand supporting a deep tub, has been fitted with a special valve and spray head unit, which is activated by the upturned empty drum spout.
A pressure spray is released, reaching all inner surfaces of the drum and effectively rinsing the chemical residue out of the spout and into the tub.
This is quickly achieved with minimal water and light hand pressure on the base of the inverted drum.
Within 30 seconds, this drum can be replaced by another and many drums can be cleaned to the required standard in a short interval.
The rinse water drains from the tub to be collected in a chemical waste collection vessel, or reclaimed by the user for crop use by a custom engineered Venturi fitted to the bottom of the tub to push the rinse water into the crop sprayer tank.
The TripleRinser Design
The TripleRinser has been designed to be simplistic for use.
With intake connection to a pressured water supply and the waste connection to a storage vessel or the crop spray tank, the operator only needs to ensure the neck of the drum fits over the spray head and presses the valve open with the weight of his hand on the base on the drum.
Cleaned, the drum is then put aside to dry for later collection.
Purchased as a kit-set, needing just a small amount of assembly, the unit has duplicated parts that will fit in alternate positions and pre-assembled parts that make the unit operational within 15 minutes.
Duplicated pipe frames form the front and back of the unit, with four identical flat bars that are U bolted to the frames to lock the unit square and sturdy.
The recycled plastic tub is inserted into the frame and slotted into the support brackets.
The spray head/valve and waste fittings are screwed together into the base of the tub and the waste water piping is connected to the custom engineered Venturi unit, to be captured for crop use.
The hoses are secured to the front or rear panel chosen to use and fixed securely with the insert of the hose end fittings. Plumbing and piping fittings from this juncture are the user responsibility.
